Womanizer Pro 40 Clitoral Stimulator

Simulated suction toys are a big thing at the moment. Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying that they have clits everywhere in a tizzy. I’ve been lucky enough to review the Womanizer W100 and W500 Pro right here on Scandarella, and while it’s true that they have their little niggles, I adore them both. Now it’s time to turn my attentions to the Womanizer Pro 40. Will that have its own little niggles too?

Firstly comes the box. I quite like the packaging of Womanizer products (though the name still gives me the icks). Depending on your chosen model and design it’s either sleek and sophisticated, modern and funky, or in the case of my Pro 40, clean and simple.

In the box you get your Womanizer Pro 40 unit fitted with a standard treatment head, a sealed XL treatment head, and a usb pin cable, a European two pin plug, as well as an instruction booklet.

Gone is the pebble shaped loveliness of the W500 and back is the kiddy thermometer charm of the W100. Except there’s no leopard print here. The Pro 40 currently comes in pink/silver and white/silver. I opted for the white, and it’s actually very nice to look at. It’s streamlined, tapered, and just a whole helluva lot classier than the original it’s shaped like.

I’ll say now that I’m broken hearted that the controls are now back on the front of the unit. That’s me back to jamming my thumb between my vulva and the on button. They’re not situated as close to the treatment head as they are on the W100, but it still saddens me.

However, I am pleased that the intensities – of which there are 10 – can be scrolled up/down via separate buttons. This beats having to press the ON button to go back to the start if I overshoot my favourite setting.

Ridiculous comment to make, really, seeing as my favourite is the highest one and can’t be overshot.

I find the biggest bonus of the separate controls comes after orgasm. One of my biggest gripes with the W100 was having to drop right back down to the lowest setting – which is so gentle it’s basically turned off – after orgasm, because it would make my clit lose interest. Being able to scroll back an intensity or two keeps the fires burning for me. I can scroll back up when I’m ready to go for a second climax, even a third if I want.

The overall build of the Pro 40 is really high quality. Yeah, it’s plastic, but it doesn’t feel flimsy or poorly put together. It’s feather light so doesn’t get trying on the hand, but even if it weighed a ton the instructions advise you not to stimulate the same area for any longer than 15 minutes anyway. If it’s gonna work for you you’re not going to need 15 minutes, though, so don’t let that worry you.

And it’s waterproof.

Yep, if your little heart desires that you have a couple of sucky, pulsy, vibing orgasms in the bath or shower, you have the Womanizer Pro 40 and its original pleasure air technologie at your clit’s command. And that is what makes this model worthwhile. Just be sure to check that the little cover that protects the charging port is firmly in place before you get it wet. You don’t wanna kill your bath-time buddy.

The Womanizer Pro 40 in use

I have to be honest and say that, during two separate comparison tests conducted by a blindfolded, iPodded me and a Womanizer wielding Fella, I couldn’t tell the difference between the W100 and Pro 40. I knew when the W500 was on my clit, but I couldn’t tell the others apart.

We used the same lube both times (water-based and applied from a pump bottle), I was at a similar level of arousal both times, and I reached orgasm in a similar time with the Pro 40 during the first test and the W100 the second. To keep it fair I didn’t know which unit had given me which orgasm until after the second test.

In my opinion, the fact that the Womanizer Pro 40 is waterproof is the only thing that sets it apart from the W100. Well, that and the looks. And the price.

Taking toys in the bath isn’t something that really revs my engines, but I’ve had the Pro 40 in there with me an inordinate amount of times. It’s quiet and quick, and it feels so very nice to have my clit sucked on while I’m turning lobster pink beneath the bubbles and relaxing to the point of sleep. I always doze off in the bath, but never as deeply as I do when I’ve been Womanized.

I truly believed that I was going to say, if you don’t want to take your Womanizer Pro 40 in the bath try your best to get the W500 instead. But I’m not going to say that at all. What I’m going to say is, if you’re after the unique sucking vibrations Womanizer has to offer and you have £90 to buy a Pro 40, go for it! It doesn’t reach the heights of power that the W500 does, but that doesn’t matter. If this type of stimulation is going to work for you, there’ll be an intensity here that’ll do it.

Now, I know how risky it can feel to buy a product that comes with a big price tag. I also know first-hand that it’s easy to give up on something just because you’re running out of return time. For that reason, I’ll always recommend Lovehoney for purchases like this because of their no quibble 365 day returns policy. So if you’d like to try a simulated suction sex toy, you can pick one up here.

The Womanizer Pro 40 was sent to me by Orion in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinions, which are now, and will forever be, my own. Affiliate links have been used in this post.
