I come, at long last, to the bottom of the box that was my review package for So Divine UK. It’s been a pleasure getting to know all of their products, from the adorable silicone sleeved Je T’Aime to the double ended Wicked Game Wand. Now it’s time for me to tell you about the So Divine Vibrating Bullets.
Something that I find unusual about So Divine’s product range is that different colours of the same product come with different names. The Wicked Game, for example, is purple, while the pink version is called Sweetest Taboo. In the same vein, their bullets come in four colours; red (Thinkin’ ‘Bout You), pink (French Kiss), silver (Need You Tonight) and rose gold (Halo).
I received the latter two, and their colours are gorgeous. Matte, subtle, and trimmed with a black ‘waterproofing’ ring and single touch button, they are some of the nicest bullets I’ve come across. I have especially large heart eyes for the rose gold. It’s much classier than yellow gold and looks pretty in my bullet box.
So Divine Vibrating Bullets are 3.25″ long, made from abs plastic, and their colouring is a coating. Eventually, that coating will wear off, especially if you love your chosen bullet enough to use it heavily. It’s not a flaw, as such, but rather just the nature of the beast. All bullet vibes of this type that I’ve had for more than a year, maybe a year and a half are down to the bare plastic in places.
For such inexpensive bullets, the quality of these is great. The screw on/off cap can be a little fiddly, especially on the silver Need You Tonight, but that’s about it. Said cap screws on nice and tight, and the rubber sealing ring has pros of its own. It’s black, so it’s easy to spot when it is (and isn’t) there, unlike clear rings. And it’s quite thick, so you have to give your cap a good hard turn before you can make a connection and turn it on. This means you can’t leave it slack, so there’s less chance of springing a leak should you opt to take it in the bath or shower. Which you totally could, if you wanted to.
So Divine Vibrating Bullets are operated by a workhorse button, ie; a single button that switches it on/off and controls the vibes. There’s only one speed to be had, though, so that lone button doesn’t have to work hard.
So, what’s that single speed like, I hear you ask.
Well, it’s better than I expected from a bullet that runs on three cell batteries (which are included with the vibe) and costs less than a tenner. Yeah, it’s a buzzy one, but it feels nice. It’s light and teasing, sometimes annoying and infuriating, but perfect for those situations when I don’t want to or am not allowed to come.
It’s fab to use as a warm up toy, too. I’ve discovered that, while my clit loves deep penetrating rumbles, my inner labia and perineum get the shivers from buzzy vibrations. It tickles, makes me squirmy and hungry for more. I even keep using it when I’m so turned-on I grab for a dildo, only changing to a more powerful vibe once I reach the stage where I can no longer feel the bullet.
Having two means I can give my nipples the exact same stimulation, at the exact same time. Something about that feels so good to me, and I love that I can just stick bullets in my bra, if I’m wearing one. If not, using a bit of bondage tape and securing the bullet to nipple sticks is a great compromise if I’m braless, though it is a little noisier.
I think it’s probably needless to say at this point, but the Fella loves these bullets to death. He likes the weaker, gentler vibes around his balls, especially during oral. A new thing for him is massage. He likes me to roll the buzzing bullets over his butt and thighs during foreplay, and I have to admit that it does feel quite nice. I’ve never seen a bullet as a massage tool before, always picking wands up for this, but I’m starting to change my ways.
As I said above, these So Divine Vibrating Bullets are waterproof, so washing them is easy. A quick dunk in soapy water followed by a rinse and a towel dry is all they need. Just ensure the caps are on tightly so water doesn’t sneak in and fuck ‘em up. Personally, I store these bullets in a tray that’s always lying flat. If you have a toy box or drawer, some kind of wrapping would be a good idea. Just to make sure the colours last as long as possible.
These are simple, cheap little toys that have a place in most toy boxes. Sensitive clits, folk who prefer surface level vibes, folk who want to tease and torment… they’re so versatile and easy to fit into play. They’re the only product that could ever get me to say ‘everybody should try one’.
