Sliquid Sea Lubricant

I’ve been a fan of Sliquid lubricants for a while, but one that never really caught my attention was Sliquid Sea. I don’t know why I never thought to try it, but I hadn’t, so was pleased as punch when I opened my first ever review package from Tantus and saw a bottle nestled between two dildos.

SLIQUID SEA 1

All Sliquid lubes are free from parabens, glycerol, propylene glycol, and the other nasties many people choose to avoid. They’re vegan friendly, and suitable for use with latex and rubber, so condom lovers can get down and dirty, confident in the knowledge that their lube isn’t gonna compromise their barrier.

SLIQUID SEA 3

Sliquid Sea has all of those familiar qualities, and also an additive derived from seaweed, called carrageenan. It’s an ingredient that’s widely used in cosmetics, and is said to be moisturising, and supposedly has anti-aging properties when used topically. I hope that’s true, cos keeping my vulva looking young and sprightly is imperative!

*I joke, obviously. I couldn’t give a fuck what my vulva looks like, I rarely, if ever, look at it*

I’ve also read some claims that this extract reduces the chances of transmitting HPV (human papillomavirus), but I ain’t no biologist, or alchemist, or any other kind of ist for that matter, so I wouldn’t trust that info as far as I could throw it.

SLIQUID SEA 2

What I do trust is my own judgement, and I’ve decided that I like Sliquid Sea. It’s clear, completely tasteless, and scent free, so would be a good choice for those who like to taste their partner’s natural flavours when giving oral. I don’t, so this isn’t my favourite oral sex disguiser, I mean enhancer! Oral sex enhancer.

The viscosity of Sliquid Sea is kinda middle of the road; not at all thick, but not too runny either. I like to use it for fingers only masturbation, though I do find it dries up a little quicker than other Sliquid lubes. A small reapplication or a bit of saliva wakes things up again, though, so it’s all good. Using it for PIV sex or with toys for vaginal penetration is ace, but I prefer Sliquid Sassy for anal, as it offers more cushioning.

SLIQUID SEA 4

Yes, I do like this lube, and I will buy it again when the need arises. If you’d like to try it for yourself, you can get it from Tantus, or those in the UK can buy theirs from Nice ‘N’ Naughty.

The Sliquid Sea 125ml Lubricant was sent to me by Tantus in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinions, which are now, and will forever be, my own. Affiliate links have been used in this post.
