I’m sure y’all know by now that I’m a big fan of SHUNGA products. I love their packaging, I love their tins, bottles, and tubes, and I love what comes in them. Every time I open the bedside table drawer and see that beautiful Japanese lady and her handsome beau looking all loved up, it makes me smile no matter how crappy my mood.
In my delivery of review goodies, was this little gem:
Secret Garden Orgasm Enhancing Cream
Now I know I’ve said it before, but the packaging is simply stunning. This one is quite simple, with just a close up of a Geisha’s face, but I like it so much, I’m not gonna throw it away once the stuff inside is gone. I’m gonna keep it and put earrings in it or something.
Anyhoo, enough of me talking about boxes. It’s what’s inside that I really want to talkabout.
The Secret Garden Orgasm Enhancing Cream comes in a sleek black tube, and you get 30ml (1oz) of product. I was quite surprised on first squirt, because in reality, it isn’t actually a cream. It’s a thick, gloopy gel, and while that’s not what I expected, it was welcome. I’m not saying I would have preferred a cream, what I;m saying is, I was pleased at how thick it was.
So many of these gels are uber runny, and pour out all over the joint when I try to get just a few drops on my fingertips, but I don’t have that problem here. I can get the exact amount I want without making a mess and losing half a bottle of stuff as I go.
Orgasm enhancing gels are designed to be rubbed into the smooth skin just beneath the clitoris, and their job is to encourage blood flow to the area, thus increasing sensitivity, and some of them provide subtle warming or cooling effects too. They’re not designed to make you orgasm, just to help increase the chances of whatever it is you’re doing to yourself or having done to you making it happen.
The Secret Garden gel is clear, but like I said, it’s quite viscous, so you’re getting it where you want it no problem. It has a very strong scent of peppermint, which stands to reason considering that one of the magic making ingredients in it, is peppermint oil. There’s also L-Arginine in there, and Damiana Extract too. From what I can gather from a bit of Googling, peppermint is cooling, and Damiana is warming, so there’s your two sensations right there.
So, now I’ve told you what it’s for, I’ll tell you how it works:
It’s quite a subtle sensation at first. I put two drops on my fingertips, and applied it to my Secret Garden, also known as my clitoris and the surrounding area. Whenever I use something like this, I make sure I go right in and apply it on my clit, because that’s what works best for me.
At first there was nothing, so I applied a little more, and got a gentle, cooling sensation going. A third application increased it, and the fourth changed it to something a little warmer. Squeezing a drop on my We-Vibe Tango, I kept the vibes on low so I wasn’t overwhelmed by them, and let myself enjoy the hot and cold. It really does make a difference to how sensitive my clit is, and I loved every minute!
Now this stuff tastes horrible, so there was no way would the Fella put his mouth anywhere near it, so even though I really wanted him to blow on my vulva while the gel was doing its thing, he said the temptation was too much, and refused. I’m not a fan of the Lovehoney Sqweel AT ALL, but I was curious to see if the gale force winds it generates would work with the Secret Garden gel. I applied drop after drop until there was a nice amount of heat, then switched on the Sqweel.
Umm, yeah. It worked pretty damned well, actually. There was the heat, working its magic and making my clit extra responsive, and the breeze from the Sqweel cooled the wetness, giving me both sensations at once. The Sqweel was still rubbish and didn’t get me off, but it was arousing enough for me to finish the job with my fingers.
I have to tip my hat to SHUNGA here. I’ve tried a few of their products, and I’ve been impressed with each and every one of them. The Secret Garden Orgasm Enhancing Cream won’t work for everyone, but it certainly works for me, and I would recommend you try it for yourself to see if it works for you too.
