Even though reviewing sex toys has been a huge part of my life for some time now, I still get shaky with excitement when something new comes my way. Especially if that something new is a new concept, or if it builds on something I already know I love. That’s how it was with the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit.
Many folks are happy with the orgasms their air pulse technology toys alone offer, but I’m always wanting more. One of my favourite ways to use my Satisfyers and Womanizers is to combine them with insertable toys. I’ve long used dildos with them – both vaginally and anally – but have recently changed to using vibrators for maximum stimulation. The orgasms I get from combos can be knock-me-out powerful, but there’s always one thing I dislike about doubling up; the effort.
Having both hands jammed between my thighs as I play can be super annoying. It’s tiring on my wrists and shoulders, my back gets a bit achy, and when I reach orgasm I sometimes get pulled muscle spasms in my abdomen that are caused by me tensing up so tightly while crunched over.
That’s why the release of the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit seemed like a magical moment to me. When I looked at it I didn’t just see yet another Satisfyer product. I saw the potential to take all of the effort out of having an air pulse, internal vibes combo wank. I saw myself stretched out with one hand between my thighs, the other one free to do other pleasant things.
The quality of the G-Spot Rabbit surprised me. All of Satisfyer’s stuff is nice, but there is a lot of plastic involved. The rabbit is made of soft, matte silicone with just a couple of ABS accents. I love that the silicone is white, and I love that the plastic trimmings have kept in with the rose gold of the original Satisfyer. It’s a sturdy rabbit with a decent amount of weight to it and I’m just really impressed.
Size wise, the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit isn’t radically different from any other rabbit out there. From end to end it measures up at 9” and the insertable shaft is approximately 4”. Something I love about the shaft is the angled design. Running up the sides of the toy is an indent which makes the front slightly thicker than the back. This produces a ridge up both sides that, though subtle to the fingers, can be felt quite easily when the toy is in use. It adds a little texture to what could have been a boring, straight up and down shaft.
The tip of the shaft is uber tapered, giving it a well-defined point. Depending on the length of your vaginal canal this has the potential to reach all the lovely spots behind the cervix. Something the shaft isn’t, in my opinion, is a g-spotter. There’s a slight bulge there, sure, but it isn’t defined enough, and the shaft isn’t curved enough to offer effortless g-spot contact. I mean, it might have been if this had just been a classic vibrator, but it isn’t it’s a rabbit.
There’s a good amount of flexibility to the shaft but to me it’s pointless. When I try to put pressure on my g-spot the shaft bends, not just lessening the pressure (which is bad enough) but also pulling the clitoral head away from my body. This would be a disaster if I was close to orgasm and suddenly clit stim was gone.
I say ‘would’ because, for me, there is no clit stim from the off. The design of the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit is all wrong for me. When I first inspected the toy I had a thought; why is the mouth of the clit bit angled toward the shaft? I had a feeling that it would tuck under my clit rather than fitting over it, and I was right. The edge of the silicone head rests against the underside of my clit. It’s fucking infuriating cos I can feel that it’s so close, yet it’s still so far away. If the clit bit had been perpendicular rather than angled in it would have made contact.
I could honestly cry about that, cos this rabbit is perfectly good in every other aspect. Rechargeable via a decently strong magnetic USB cable. Waterproof for underwater play and, most importantly to me, ease of cleaning. The controls are simple to use. An increase and a decrease button for the clit stim, and a separate single button for the vibes. There are eleven pressure wave intensities to choose from and ten vibration modes. And those vibes are pretty marvellous, in my opinion. Deep and penetrating with a lovely rumble. The air pulse is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Satisfyer; intense and aggressive.
Yeah, this toy would have been exactly what I wanted (I could have lived without the g-spot contact) if only the fit had been better. I’m gutted about this, I truly am. But that’s the reality of the rabbit vibrator. It either fits with your personal anatomy of it doesn’t. Standard rabbits are more forgiving because of the flexibility of their ‘ears’ but as this one has a rigid, unmoving clit stimulator there’s no manipulating the fit in my experience. Maybe if the flex had been in the external part rather than in the shaft – or even if there’s been a bit in both – it would have been a different story. Who knows?
As always, my experience won’t necessarily be your experience. Rabbit style vibes are especially bound by this rule because, even in folks who love the same kinds of stimulation and power, anatomy will always dictate what success we have using something like this.
