Hmmm, the Satisfyer PRO 2 Next Generation. I’ve had this thing sat in my review cupboard for ages. When it was first launched I was full of enthusiasm about it. But after reviewing a load of Satisfyer models and finding that I prefer Womanizer, I’m ashamed to admit that my interest in Satisfyer fell by the wayside.
But…
I found myself in need of some air pulse orgasms and the only thing I had to hand that didn’t have a flat as fuck battery was the PRO 2 Next Gen. Out it came, and then I came. Over. And over. And then once more just because. I realised then that I’d sold this thing short. I’d been mean. I’d put off using it (and therefore this review) in favour of using other suction toys. It didn’t deserve that from me, and neither did Peepshow Toys, who sent me the thing to review in the first place. Peepshow, I apologise.
Anyway, I’d expected the next generation model of the PRO 2 to be exactly the same as the original, barring a few tweaks. Those tweaks? They are very much present, and they improve the toy so much I’m embarrassed that I underestimated them. Satisfyer only made a few minor adjustments but they were well-chosen ones.
The biggest issue I had with the original PRO 2 was the racket it made. It’s so loud I used to comment that folks could probably hear me wanking from space. But the next-gen model is much, much quieter. It isn’t silent by any stretch of the imagination, and it can still be heard from adjoining rooms if the house is quiet, but the neighbours won’t hear this one through the wall like I’m 99% sure they could the original.
The other change is in the button interface. There are still two buttons; one ON/OFF and one for functions. Instead of that function button being one direction it now clicks up and down through intensities. This is so much better than only being able to go one way. I’m shocking for overshooting the setting I’m after and with the intensity of air pulse stimulation that can literally kill an approaching orgasm dead. Taking the toy away while I cycle up, back to the start, then up again to the setting I wanted ruins it. But being able to click straight back down means minimal disruption.
Another change I detected is the quality of the sensation. I’ve called the stimulation on offer from Satisfyer aggressive. Womanizer is smoother, but Satisfyer is a serious kick in the clit. The Pro 2 Next Generation seems to be a bit more refined. There’s a gentleness to the intensities that wasn’t present in the original, and when I reach the highest setting I don’t feel like my clit is being detached from my body.
So, yeah. The changes to the NextGen might not be many, but they are mighty. I think this model is gonna stay out of the cupboard for a while, though my heart will always belong to Womanizer.
If you haven’t tried a Satisfyer I’d recommend picking this one up, or any of the other next-gen models. Make sure you look for those words specifically – Next Generation. I’ve seen a few online stores selling super cheap Satisfyers but they’re the old models and you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you lumbered yourself with one of those noisy things.
