When the lovely Jo from Velvet Fleurs offered me the chance to review the Pasante Sensations Arouse Me Ribbed G-Spot Vibrator, I snapped it up, because one look at it told me that it was something that I was gonna love getting to know.
But before I tell you whether or not we became friends, I have to tell you about the service Velvet Fleurs offers; it’s first rate. Discreetly packaged, the product box was perfectly wrapped in purple tissue paper, and the outer box was so well padded, they could have sent me a champagne flute and there’s a good chance it would have survived the journey.

Inside of a white and very pink box sits the Arouse Me G-Spot Vibrator, along with its usb charger, red velvety storage bag, and a couple of leaflets – one for instructions, and one full of adverts.
As a texture lover, I swooned when I pulled the vibe out of the box and ran my hands over the gorgeous ribs that begin very subtly in the centre of the flexible shaft and travel to the tip, becoming deeper and bolder as they go.
I was a wee bit concerned about those ribs before I actually held the toy in my hands. If it had been super firm, it would have given me the same cheese grater sensations I always get from my Intimate Part Spreaders, but that isn’t the case at all.
The Arouse Me G-Spot Vibrator is made from really soft silicone. The lower part of the 7.5 inch shaft is satiny smooth, seamless, and pretty solid, but the ridged half is bouncy and soft, and that gives it some yield so it doesn’t feel even remotely scrapey in use. The very tip feels like it’s just silicone with nothing under it, so that’s mega squishy too.
At 4.5 inches in girth at its widest insertable point, the Arouse Me G-Spot Vibe is quite a modest size, so shouldn’t be anything too intimidating to prospective G-Spotters. The ‘handle’ is a bit chunkier at 5 inches, making it comfortable to hold on to during use.
Charging this vibe is the simplest thing on earth. It’s usb chargeable, so all you need is a usb port, whether it be in your laptop, or your phone charger plug, or wherever else techy manufacturers put them these days. I use my phone charger. There’s no fiddly magnets at the other end either, there’s a pin that slots in a self-healing hole in the base of the toy, and that’s that! The first charge is a soul destroying 12 hours, but after that you get away with 2.5/3 hours charge, for up to 2 hours of play.
Once you’re charged up and ready to go, it’s as simple as locating the two sunken buttons on the handle. One turns the toy on and off, and the other cycles through the intensities and patterns. Of those, there’s three speeds of intensity, and 7 patterns. I’m not a pattern loving kinda gal, but I have developed a soft spot for the first one, which reminds me of a cats purr, and the fourth, which I describe to the Fella as the ‘jingle bells’ tempo.
The vibes on offer here kinda took me by surprise. They are buzzy, but they also have a bit of depth to them that makes them feel a bit more powerful than many other vibes. I dunno, it’s a hard one to describe. I think the best way to say it would be, compare the sound of a wasp to the sound of a bee. They’re both buzzy, but a bee buzz is deeper and a bit softer than a wasp’s. The Arouse Me G-Spot Vibrator would be the bee in this case.
So, how did we get on? Are we friends? The answer to that, is yes!
When it comes to vibrators, the first thing I do with them is see how they get on with my clitoris. The ribbed design of the Arouse Me G-Spot Vibrator feels lovely when the Fella turns upside down and rubs it gently between my labia. I can feel each of those ridges passing back and forth over my clit, and he lets me build slowly, before switching the vibes on to high and letting that push me over the edge.
Once it’s inside me, thrusting it semi-fast feels utterly amazing, especially if it’s on an angle (the handle tilted toward my butt) cos the ribs stroke against the lower part of my vaginal opening and I fucking love how that feels. Even though the shaft is on the slimmer end of the scale (for me) the texture makes it feel thicker, so it’s filling, and the length of it lets it tap against my cervix, which is something else I love.
But this is a G-Spot vibrator, and the big question is, does it get my hotspot hot. Actually, yeah, it does! The slender centre of the shaft accommodates my pubic bone perfectly, and the swollen end comes into contact with my G-Spot quite easily. Once it’s settled in position, I like the Fella to grind it in circles, and the flex of the shaft bends with his movements, so there’s no uncomfy rubbing against my bone. This is where I love pattern No 1. The rolling bursts of vibration combined with the slow grind of the soft silicone are more than enough to get me sloshing, and a bullet on my clit finishes the job brilliantly.
