Pipedream. How can a company with such questionable ethics create a range as beautiful and individual as Icicles? Understanding of the thought processes that can produce as much elegance as they can offence eludes me, but the fact is, they’ve done it, and some of my favourite glass pieces come from this very range. The No 5 is probably the only ‘utilitarian’ Icicles piece I have. Don’t get me wrong, it is lovely to look at, but it’s nothing particularly fancy. At 7.25” in length – 6.25” of which is insertable – and just 4” in girth, it’s a pretty standard sized dildo. Nothing to be wowed by at all, is it?
But what makes it special for me is the thick blue band that coils around the full length of the gently curved shaft. I’m a lover of textured toys, and textured glass is especially pleasing as there’s no way is any part of me squishing any part of it flat.
