When it comes to sex toys, 2016 has been a good year for me so far. Having a brand new blog has been a great excuse to buy way more stuff than is reasonable for one couple, and it’s also brought me some amazing things to review from some fantastic shops and manufacturers.
So much so, I decided it was time to re-evaluate my favourites, as having something like 28 dildos in my top 10 was just ridiculous. Even though a couple of new additions have ranked high on the list, surprisingly, some toys I came to own long before Scandarella was even a thought still made the grade, and have kept a firm hold on some of those top spots.
Riding high as a real contender for the No 1 slot, is the Fun Factory Tiger Dildo.
Named (probably) for the gorgeous raised stripes that run down the entire 7 inches of the firm red (in my case – it’s available in black, and pink too) silicone shaft, the Tiger is one helluva a wild ride. Girth wise, it’s not the chubbiest dildo on the block at 5 inches in circumference, but the texture makes it feel so much more substantial in that department than it actually is.
It’s long enough to get a good grip on and still have room to thrust, and I love that, as my labia are quite large, and I loose a little bit of length because of it. I’m sure you can imagine how frustrating that is. Hell, some of you might even know how frustrating that is.
Like I said above, the silicone is pretty firm, and resists if you try to squish it, but at the same time, it’s really flexible too. Following the slight curve forward, I can fold mine clean in half, and almost to 90 degrees if I go backward against the curve. This flexi-firm build makes it a joy to use, as you can hit the right spots no matter what angle you favour because the dildo will shift to accommodate you.
Now you might not think it from the pics, but the base isn’t just there to make the Tiger anal safe and harness compatible. As flat as it is, it’s actually a pretty strong suction cup in disguise. As I mentioned earlier, I have large labia, and also decently strong kegels, and one of my biggest gripes about some suction cup dildos is, I always manage to make them come unstuck rather quickly.
Not this one though. It can take a good hard riding before it eventually works its way free, but by the time that happens I’m happy to roll on my back with my legs in the air to let my hands finish the job, so am pretty much past caring at that point.
The best thing about the Tiger by far, is the texture. Even though the silicone is lovely and smooth, those stripes form pretty pronounced grooves, and this makes it a dream to use for lazy G-Spotting. Once I find the right spot, my pubic bone settles nicely into one of those grooves and is effectively wedged in place. All I have to do then is rock it back and forth, and the tip strokes against my G-Spot until I blow.
That’s a wonderful thing in itself, but my favourite way of using the Tiger is to go hell for leather with the thrusting, letting the winning feature that is that pronounced coronal lip rub furiously at my G-Spot, while the ridges on the rest of the shaft stimulate my vaginal opening, as well as my perineum for good measure.
With so much sensation all at once, I often reach orgasm before I realise it’s imminent, and usually before I even have time to build up a good squirt. But once I’ve come, I find going easy on the clit stim for a short while and keeping up with the fast fucking lets me squirt happily away until I have a wall clenching G-Spot orgasm, then bringing the clit stim back on full power without letting up on the fast thrusting lets me finish a session with a powerful blended orgasm.
When it comes to lube (water-based only, people), I find less is more to begin with, as the silicone isn’t as draggy as some I’ve used, but once I start to squirt I need to get a bit more liberal. That’s because there’s something about my squirty fluid that acts like salt on bubbles, and the lube just vanishes and takes my natural slickness with it, leaving an unpleasant drag in its wake.
I lose so much lube this way if I’m flying solo, cos I don’t have the patience to stop fucking myself to apply it sensibly, I just grab the bottle, point it in the general direction of my vag, and squeeze until the smooth ride I want is resumed. I end up with lube all over my legs, on my stomach and all over the bed… I really need to work on my aim.
So, there’s my opinion of the Fun Factory Tiger. I. Love. It. And I really do think that texture lovers, curve lovers, and G & P Spotters have a good chance of loving it too.
