I love Fun Factory! There, I said it. I have a small selection of their products now and not one of them is a dud. Lovehoney gave me the opportunity to try the Fun Factory Moody G-Spot Vibrator in exchange for an honest review, and here it is!
As always, the packaging for the Moody is what I’ve come to expect from Fun Factory; clean, inoffensive and perfect for long term storage. Inside of a discreet gold box sits the Moody and its magnetic charger. There’s also an info leaflet there that shows the vibration patterns and has instructions on how to operate your toy, and there’s also a warning leaflet that tells you how to safely use the crazy charger.
I’ve never been disappointed with the build quality of Fun Factory products and the Moody is no exception. You can feel how well made it is by the weight of it in your hand and in the glorious softness of the silicone, and you can see it in the handle and the easy to operate buttons.
Fun Factory silicone is weird. It’s super soft and squishy, but has a more of a crushed velvet texture to it than a silky one. That gives it a helluva lot of drag, so lashings of lube is essential to avoid uncomfortable friction. The shaft is on the small side with just 4.25” of insertable length, and the G-Spot curve is very subtle, but it works like a dream for me. The fluted base makes it anal safe, and feels lovely around the vaginal opening too. It also looks pretty, and who doesn’t like pretty?
The handle is perfectly designed with a finger loop that’s big enough to really let you get a good hold on it, while still putting the buttons in easy reach of your thumb. It’s USB rechargeable, so bye-bye batteries, and it’s completely submersible too, making it not only fab for bath time, but easy to clean. So far so good!
I admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Fun Factory’s vibrations. Their dildos, pulsators, B Balls and V Balls are all top shelf, but when it comes to their vibes, I was on virgin territory. I was pleased to discover that the Moody came fully charged, cos that meant I could dive straight in. I switched it on and that first buzz really impressed me. It was a good deal rumblier than I’d expected, and I like rumbly.
I pressed the minus button, and was stupidly surprised when that took me down two speeds. I was gutted, I thought it had started on full speed and that was the best I was gonna get. Well, I was wrong. Pressing the plus button increased the speed, and it just kept going! There’s six intensities all-in, and the power it puts out is amazing. There are six patterns too, and I actually like them all, which is unheard of for me as I’m usually a constant-full-speed-ahead kinda girl.

The Moody has become a cherished multi-tasker in our house.
