NU-Sensuelle Curve G-Spot Vibrator Review

It’s been far too long since I rummaged in my box of NU-Sensuelle goodies from Latex Leather & Lace, folks. I’ve been spoilt for choice, with all manner of shapes and sizes and types to choose from. So instead of making a considered selection like an adult would, I’ve slipped my hand in lucky dip style to choose which one to review next. And the winner is the NU-Sensuelle Curve G-Spot Vibrator.

As I’ve said in previous NU-Sensuelle reviews, I’m rather taken with this brand. Each product of theirs I’ve tried so far has impressed me with their decent vibes. I like that they’re body safe, I like that they’re rechargeable, this one in a cute little dock. One thing that strikes me as odd, though, is that they’re not even splash-proof. These days, water resistance should be a standard feature in all sex toys, considering how essential thorough cleaning is. Not to mention the fact that many vibrators are used on a body part that goes through various stages of being wet. Do not get the base (where the magnetic charging pins are) wet is just…yeah.

The NU-Sensuelle Curve is small in stature, designed for shallow penetration and targeted g-spot stimulation. All in it measures just 5.5” in length, with around 4” of that being insertable. This has a good chance of making contact with most g-spots as they’re usually located 2” to 3” inside of the vagina. All bodies are different, though, so that generalisation might not ring true for you and that’s okay.

If you’re into slender insertables this piece has you covered. At its widest, the NU-Sensuelle Curve is just a smidge under 3.75” in circumference, and the tip area is slimmer still. The back of the shaft is completely straight until the top inch and a half. There you’ll find a curve that seems deep on the back and understated on the front.

Subtle though it is, the curve creates a pointed tip that delights my clit. The silicone that coats the ABS plastic body of the toy is silky smooth and glides beautifully with minimal lube. But it’s thin, so the toy is super firm everywhere but in the very tip. There’s more silicone here and it has a bit of give. Not squish, but there’s definitely bounce. This softens it a bit and I like the way it feels externally.

In fact, I prefer to use it as a clitoral vibrator, even though it is badged up as a g-spotter. The vibrations put out by the NU-Sensuelle Curve are as good as the other products I’ve tried in the rechargeable range. If you like having mode options you’re in for a good time, cos this toy boasts 20 of them; three constant and seventeen patterns.

They’re not gold standard vibes, but they are deep and massaging rather than tinny and itchy. My clit doesn’t get irritated, or over-sensitised, or bored. The shape and size of the toy lets me stimulate my labia as a whole by using the full length on its side. I can use the rounded side of the tip to awaken my clit and then spin it around to the point when it’s time to go in for the kill. For me, this toy brings quick and easy orgasms.

But it’s not a clit vibe. It’s a g-spot vibe and I personally get less success using it for its intended purpose. Don’t get me wrong, the vibes feel really good internally, but the size of the toy is all wrong for me. I’m aware that this has much to do with my body size and shape, but I find it really hard to reach my g-spot with the Curve when playing solo.

Because of the positioning of my g-spot (2.5” or so in), the size of my outer labia, the shape of my belly, and the length of my arms, the toy becomes too small. I can insert it easily enough and it hits my g-spot with a bit of manoeuvring, but I need fast, aggressively hard stimulation to come/squirt and I can’t give myself that. Thrusting at a weird angle while putting on enough pressure is impossible at the best of times, but then lube. As soon as my fingers get wet, I can’t even hold onto the frigging toy never mind use it. My flaps get in the way of my fingers, my pubic bone gets in the way of the toy. The vibes might be good but they’re not worth that much effort.

I think there’s a good possibility that larger bodied folks who want to use the NU-Sensuelle Curve for g-spotting will struggle as I do. But as always seems to be the case, I can’t be trashing it as a product because it does work well enough if the Fella is around. When he’s playing, he has an all access pass to my vulva. No part of me gets in his way. He doesn’t have to skirt tits or belly or thighs, so he doesn’t have the same thrusting/pressure/reach limitations as I do.

Therefore, in his hands, the Curve feels lovely all up on my g-spot. He can really dig it in, and that makes the most of the firmness and the direct point. It does feel like parts of my front wall are being neglected at times, but such a small surface area of silicone can’t be everywhere at once. But the vibes feel good and the size feels okay. I don’t get body trembling orgasms from it but the ones I do have are worth having. If there was just an inch or two more in length, I could give them to myself. It’s a bit frustrating knowing it’s so close but so far away.

If you don’t struggle with reach, there’s a good chance that this toy will work well for you. The power is there, the vibe quality is there, the targeted tip is there. It’s slim and short so could be pleasing for shallow penetration lovers.
