SKY Alto by AVE

Here’s a thing that didn’t occur to me until very recently: what if I wanted the luxury of a high-end vibrator, but disliked powerful, rumbly vibes? Nearly all fancy pants sex toys come with words like ‘powerful’ and ‘rumbly’ splashed over their product pages and packaging. That’s great for me, cos powerful and rumbly vibes are the best as far as I’m concerned. But what about those folks whose clits and bits recoil at the thought of thunderclaps on their genitals? How do they get their luxury with a side of gentle? Well, they could check out the Sky Alto by AVE.

Nine times out of ten, if I consider a sex toy to be beautiful, it’s a dildo. Vibrators can be fancy, sure, but I most often feel that they’re built for function rather than form. And rightfully so, a pretty vibrator would be pretty pointless if it didn’t deliver. Continue reading “SKY Alto by AVE”

We-Vibe Unite Partner Vibrator

When people think of brands like We-Vibe, they often think in terms of cost. Understandably so, given that it’s one of the most popular mainstream luxury brands out there. Well, that’s all changing. Not the luxe status, but the price point. Like some other brands, We-Vibe have started looking into introductory models. And this, the We-Vibe Unite is one such product.

Before I tell you about it, I’ll tell you a little about the folk who sent it to me: Luxury Vibrators. Spurred on by their need to stay home with their children, Canadian besties – Bonnie & Stacie – decided to launch their very own online store. Carrying nothing but the best the sex toy market has to offer, they’ve been shipping their wares mostly throughout Canada and the United States since 2015. In a recent review package from them which saw me rolling on my bed in a glut of gorgeous toys, I found the We-Vibe Unite. So, let’s get to talking about that, shall we… Continue reading “We-Vibe Unite Partner Vibrator”

MysteryVibe Crescendo Follow Up Mini Review

I’m sure you can all remember the recent guest review the lovely Just Jess Reviews did of the MysteryVibe Crescendo, right here at Scandarella. She wasn’t impressed at all, not unlike many other reviewers out there. Right after that review went live, MysteryVibe told me that they’d been listening to the feedback they were receiving, and they offered Jess a chance to review the new improved Crescendo. Well, this is her mini review! Did MysteryVibe really make improvements, or did they just do a few ineffectual tweaks? Check out what Jess has to say to find out!

I was super excited when MysteryVibe reached out after reading my guest review on Scandarella. My wish had come true, they had listened to bloggers’ and reviewers’ feedback and created the Crescendo 2.0 – New motors! Continue reading “MysteryVibe Crescendo Follow Up Mini Review”

Fun Factory Amorino Mini Vibrator

If anyone asked me what my favourite sex toy brand of all time is, I’d throw my arms out and yodel, “Fun Factory!”. I love getting packages delivered, but there’s an extra air of excitement about it when I know there’s something from that brand inside. I’m not ashamed to admit that, when the Fun Factory Amorino Mini Vibrator arrived, I did a little dance. But not for the reason you’d expect. The reason was, it’s the first product of theirs where I’ve looked at it and thought, what the fuck’s this about, then?

Yep, the Amorino isn’t your everyday mini rabbit. It’s got a little something extra, and I knew it had the potential to be either mind-warpingly good or completely and utterly shite. Continue reading “Fun Factory Amorino Mini Vibrator”

Loving Joy Versa Poseable Vibrator

You may remember that, earlier this year, I reviewed a bullet that, in my opinion, gives the We-Vibe Tango a run for its money in the power stakes. It was the Power Bullet by Loving Joy, and it’s ace. Well, another interesting product graced my doorstep recently, and it’s time to share my thoughts. Here’s the lowdown on the Loving Joy Versa.

LOVING JOY VERSA STRAIGHT TOP VIEW LOVING JOY VERSA STRAIGHT UNDERSIDE VIEW

I would imagine that, by this point, you’ve all heard of the G-Kii 2 by Je Joue, and the Crescendo by MysteryVibe. Flexible, versatile vibrators that can go from a long, deep diving internal vibe to a C-shaped dual stimulator in just a few quick clicks? Well, Versa is Loving Joy’s first foray into the poseable vibrator market. Continue reading “Loving Joy Versa Poseable Vibrator”

GVibe Mini by FT London

Since my introduction to the world of FT London toys at the start of this year, I’ve grown increasingly fond of the brand. Lovely materials in lovely colours are the name of the day, and the vibes on offer are none too shabby. The most recent addition to my collection of super funky things is the GVibe Mini. Let me tell you all about it.

Presented in FT London’s familiar, tubular packaging, the GVibe Mini is a wee gem of a vibrator. It’s a compact version of the awesome GVibe 2, with its double pronged design and unisex, dual stimulation potential. Continue reading “GVibe Mini by FT London”

Gvibe 2 by Fun Toys

If I’m making a sex toy purchase I devour every review I can find before clicking ‘buy now’. I search for clues in a reviewer’s history to see if I can match their preferences to mine. Work out if they like and dislike the same things as me so I know if a toy has a chance of being right for me. But avoiding reading reviews of things I’d like to review is something I adopted early on in my reviewing days. I’ve always wanted to approach each new product with no preconceptions, no chance of my opinions being influenced by the experiences of others.

Despite my efforts at keeping my mind clear of other people’s thoughts, being exposed to generalised opinions is something that can’t be avoided. When I came across the Gvibe 2 by Fun Toys London, some of the comments I read were less than positive. Oddly, most of those folks hadn’t even tried the thing, their negative views were formed by looking at pictures of the toy online.

We-Vibe Sync

There have been many incarnations of the We-Vibe wearable couple’s vibrator, but until I received the We-Vibe Sync for review, I’d only ever experienced the earliest incarnation of it. And I’d hated it. It was too small, the silicone was draggy, shiny and awful, and the vibes were terrible.

WE-VIBE SYNC 1

It really did put me off this type of toy, but as I’d had a successful reunion with the Eroscillator 2 (which I never thought would happen in a million years) I decided it was time to give them another chance. Continue reading “We-Vibe Sync”

Adrien Lastic Mr Hook

Say hello to the Adrien Lastic Mr Hook, peeps.

ADRIEN LASTIC MR HOOK 13

This is the third product since Scandarella launched that I’ve struggled to review, and interestingly enough, one of the others was an Adrien Lastic product too. The 2X Double Ended Vibrator gave me pause for all the right reasons, but unfortunately I can’t say the same about the Mr Hook.

Jopen Opal Dual Massager

When I first spotted the Jopen Opal on Twitter, my eyes were instantly on stalks. I pretty much rubbed them all over the gorgeous image on my laptop screen and had my first eyegasm. It was just so lovely to look at I wanted it on sight, and when the fabulous Carolyn from Betty’s Toy Box asked me if I was up for reviewing it, I think I whooped so hard she heard me across continents.
