One of the best things about being a sex blogger is getting to try new toys pretty much all the time. Sometimes it’s a new type of toy or a new take on an old favourite. And sometimes it’s a new brand. When Latex, Leather & Lace offered to send me a box full of goodies from NU-Sensuelle I did a little dance. This is one of those brands I’ve never tried before, and I was super eager to check them out. I’m gonna start with my pick of the bunch, the NU-Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible Vibrator.
At 5.25” from end to end, the Bobbii is only a couple of inches longer than a bullet vibe. It’s a bit chubbier than a bullet, though, yet still super slender with a maximum girth of just 3.25”. This makes it a good option for folks who don’t enjoy or struggle to get their bodies to accept larger toys. It’s a good choice for the young and inexperienced, too. Are you a sex toy lover who travels a lot? Do you ever look at your collection and think, which of you lovely wee things are going in my suitcase? I know I’d be like that if I had to go anywhere, I couldn’t be without at least one toy. I also know that, should I get the chance to pop off on holiday or even for a weekend away, I’ve found the very toy I’ll be rolling up in a pair of knickers. Yep, the Satisfyer Pro Traveler is the one that will travel with me.
I’ll hold my hands up now and say that I didn’t think I’d ever find a Satisfyer product that beat my beloved Womanizer. But the Pro Traveler is so perfect for what it’s designed for I can’t help but think that I might have. I thought that the Womanizer Starlet was the perfect pint-sized air pulse travel companion, but this one has it beat. Continue reading “Satisfyer Pro Traveler Clitoral Stimulator”
A couple of months ago, I was sent the loveliest of gifts from one of my favourite brands; We-Vibe. This awesome company has just recently celebrated a milestone anniversary. Ten years of spreading sexual happiness with gems like the Nova, Ditto, and of course the iconic Tango. To mark the occasion with style they released a limited-edition two-piece set featuring two of their most prized products. When getting starry-eyed over the set specific colours I realised I’ve yet to write any kind of detailed review about my beloved Tango, and as one of those babies comes in this set I thought it was high time. So here are my thoughts on the We-Vibe Anniversary Collection.
As I said above, this set comprises of two products. Alongside the Tango is the cream of We-Vibe’s wearable vibrator crop, the Sync and its remote control. You might be wondering what’s so special about bundling two already well-received products together, and I’m gonna tell you. Continue reading “We-Vibe Anniversary Collection”
As a rule, I try to avoid vibrators that I know are gonna be buzzy. They aggravate me. I get itchy, or desensitised, or just plain irritated by the way they don’t work for me. But sometimes, even though I can feel in my bones that I’ll have no love for the vibes, a shape or texture will catch my eye and I’ll feel compelled to give whatever toy it is a shot. That’s how I got my paws on the Pink BOB Bumpy Betty Tongue Vibrator.
Firstly, I’m gonna have a whine about the brand name, cos the gendering is strong with this one. As y’all probably know, B.O.B stands for battery operated boyfriend, so this brand – and its website – is called Pink Battery-Operated Boyfriend. To me, it gives the impression that all women love pink, and ‘boyfriend’ suggests that they get attached to their vibrators in some kind of emotional/romantic capacity. Cheesy and patronising with a side of insulting, no? Okay, okay, I know that some folks will love the fuck right out of it, but it makes me want to hurl. About a month and a bit before Scandarella became a thing, I got an email from the mighty Cara Sutra. Her Christmas break was upon her and she had a product that needed reviewing. Not wanting to break her own ‘no reviews’ rule, she asked me if I could do it for the Pleasure Panel. Of course I said yes, because it was Cara, and it was an awesome sounding product. And I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it since. Well, not until I got an email from Sex Toys UK asking me if I wanted to review the latest addition to their ace Loving Joy line. Louise (who is my STUK contact and one of the loveliest people ever) was super excited about it, and that in turn got me super excited. So, when the Loving Joy Dua was finally in my hands I couldn’t wait to start getting acquainted.
So, what is the Dua?
Basically, it’s a box full of options. An interchangeable vibrator with two gorgeous attachments. One of them is a midi-wand style attachment and the other is a rabbit. That right there is brilliant, in my opinion. I mean, could two toys be any more different than a wand and a rabbit? Not just in shape, but in size, surface contact, and stimulation type. Hmmm, the Satisfyer PRO 2 Next Generation. I’ve had this thing sat in my review cupboard for ages. When it was first launched I was full of enthusiasm about it. But after reviewing a load of Satisfyer models and finding that I prefer Womanizer, I’m ashamed to admit that my interest in Satisfyer fell by the wayside.
I found myself in need of some air pulse orgasms and the only thing I had to hand that didn’t have a flat as fuck battery was the PRO 2 Next Gen. Out it came, and then I came. Over. And over. And then once more just because. I realised then that I’d sold this thing short. I’d been mean. I’d put off using it (and therefore this review) in favour of using other suction toys. It didn’t deserve that from me, and neither did Peepshow Toys, who sent me the thing to review in the first place. Peepshow, I apologise. Continue reading “Satisfyer PRO 2 Next Generation”
Even though reviewing sex toys has been a huge part of my life for some time now, I still get shaky with excitement when something new comes my way. Especially if that something new is a new concept, or if it builds on something I already know I love. That’s how it was with the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit.
Many folks are happy with the orgasms their air pulse technology toys alone offer, but I’m always wanting more. One of my favourite ways to use my Satisfyers and Womanizers is to combine them with insertable toys. I’ve long used dildos with them – both vaginally and anally – but have recently changed to using vibrators for maximum stimulation. The orgasms I get from combos can be knock-me-out powerful, but there’s always one thing I dislike about doubling up; the effort. Continue reading “Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit”
Whenever I spot a sex toy and think, what the fuck is this then, it’s usually not a positive thing. Nine times out of ten, it’s cos I’ve stumbled across something questionable, like a stroker with teeth or a PVC dildo with a wiry scrag of synthetic pubic fuzz creeping up its shaft. But when that thought occurred to me on first seeing the Zumio there was nothing negative about it. Quite the opposite, in fact.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it for one specific reason; it promised to deliver intense clitoral stimulation with killer precision. Over the last few years I’ve learned to appreciate what all kinds of stim can do for me, but I find myself going back to pinpoint time and time again. Continue reading “Zumio Clitoral Stimulator”
I’m about to share one of the most exciting things that has happened to me in my entire sex toy reviewing career. When Crimson Princess became a sponsor of Scandarella they gave me permission to choose any product I liked from their store for review. Well! They carry so many amazing things it could have been a case of a kid in a candy shop, but luckily for me, I’ve long kept extensive lists of toys that have caught my eye. And this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get my hands on something I’ve wanted for ages. The rather incredible Swan Wand.
When someone says the word ‘wand’ my mind immediately conjures up an image of the Doxy. Or Harry Potter, depending on the conversation. See, when I think of the classic wand shape I think of long handles, usually wired, and narrow necks that make using their large domed heads internally not just impractical but also inadvisable. But more and more often I’m seeing what I would class as a vibrator badged up as a wand. That seems to be the case with the Swan Wand…if you’re a fan of uber girthy vibrators, that is. Well, it’s happened. The sex toy world has gone clit sucking crazy. Not only are Womanizer and Satisfyer duking it out with new release tripping over new release, but other companies are throwing their versions into the ring, too. Some of them are truly terrifying, as you’ll see if you read Dangerous Lilly’s public service announcement/review of the supremely unsafe HIKY. But then there are those that are making positive waves everywhere, even among those who long ago picked their side in the Womanizer/Satisfyer standoff. One such company is LELO. They’ve joined the sucking simulation race with two versions of their newest toy, the LELO SONA.
Those two versions are the basic SONA and the premium variant, the SONA Cruise (the differences between which I’ll get to in a wee bit). Luxury Vibrators know that I’m a huge fan of this type of stimulation and I was delighted when they offered to send me Cruise. Continue reading “LELO SONA Cruise Sonic Clitoral Massager”
