Icicles No 76 Rose Butt Plug Review

So far, it seems to be the year of favourite brands here at Scandarella. I’ve written about a bunch of dildos by brands I love and the odd vibe, and now it’s time for some butt stuff. Love Pipedream or hate ‘em, it’s hard to deny that their Icicles line is chock full of gorgeous things. Now, the first thing I need to tell y’all about the Icicles No 76 is that it’s tiny. Not the overall plug, but the insertable part. At 2” long with a circumference of 3.75”, it’s pretty much the same size as my big toe. See, I told ya, it’s really very small. If you’ve read any of my reviews before, you know that it’s far too little to do much of anything for my butt. Icicles No 69 Pink Glass Dildo

One of the best things to ever happen to my solo sex life was the discovery of glass sex toys. The number of different designs, shapes, and colours they come in is nothing less than staggering. Butt plugs, anal probes, straight dildos, semi-realistic dildos, g-spot dildos. There’s pretty much a glass insertable out there for every type of penetrative play, and to suit every pocket. My collection ranges from £8 butt plugs to a £100+ hand blown tentacle. And Icicles. Loads of Pipedream’s Icicles and the latest piece from that line to dazzle me is the Icicles No 69.

Love em or hate em, Pipedream did a magical thing when they released their Icicles range into the wild. Some of the pieces available are 100% no-frills, straight up and down clear glass, but others are a bit more special. My own first Icicles love was the beautiful tentacle that is the No 24. Icicles No 18 Glass Dildo

My enthusiasm for dildos is never ending. I love to look at them almost as much as I love to use them, especially if they’re pretty. I am fond of realistic silicone dildos, but there’s just something about glass that I keep going back to time and time again. In fact, my most regularly used dildo is a £10 curved glass one. Recently, I was able to cross something off my dildo lustlist that’s been on there for ages: The Icicles No 18.

Icicles No 38 Glass Dildo with Leather Cat-O-Nine Tails

If you read my recent Tantus Plunge review, you’ll know I have a thing for multi-purpose sex toys. Toys that, with the flip of the wrist, can change from an object of pain to an object of pleasure. Icicles No 24 Tentacle Glass Dildo

While I’m aware that Pipedream are a morally questionable company, I have to give praise where it’s due, and I have nothing but praise for the Icicles range. Out of the half a dozen or so pieces I own, this one – the No 24 – is my favourite. It was my first Icicles piece too, gifted to me by a friend a couple of years back.

Icicles No 5 Blue Spiral Glass Dildo

Pipedream. How can a company with such questionable ethics create a range as beautiful and individual as Icicles? Understanding of the thought processes that can produce as much elegance as they can offence eludes me, but the fact is, they’ve done it, and some of my favourite glass pieces come from this very range. Including the Icicles No 5 Blue Spiral Glass Dildo.
