NU-Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible Vibrator

One of the best things about being a sex blogger is getting to try new toys pretty much all the time. Sometimes it’s a new type of toy or a new take on an old favourite. And sometimes it’s a new brand. When Latex, Leather & Lace offered to send me a box full of goodies from NU-Sensuelle I did a little dance. This is one of those brands I’ve never tried before, and I was super eager to check them out. I’m gonna start with my pick of the bunch, the NU-Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible Vibrator.

At 5.25” from end to end, the Bobbii is only a couple of inches longer than a bullet vibe. It’s a bit chubbier than a bullet, though, yet still super slender with a maximum girth of just 3.25”. This makes it a good option for folks who don’t enjoy or struggle to get their bodies to accept larger toys. It’s a good choice for the young and inexperienced, too.

Apart from a very small ABS ring at the base of the toy, the NU-Sensuelle Bobbii is made of silky smooth silicone over a base of ABS. Mine is magenta in colour but if that isn’t your thing it’s also available in a soft ballet slipper pink.

Unlike most toys of this type, the ABS beneath the silicone coating isn’t completely rigid. At the halfway point there’s a break in the plastic that gives the vibe a flexible neck. It’s the same at the base, too. It isn’t super flexible to the point where you won’t be able to get enough pressure, though. You only get about an inch and a quarter before it starts to feel the strain. This is enough bend to help reach your own personal hotspots while still allowing for maximum pressure when needed.

One of my fave things about the NU-Sensuelle Bobbii is its shape. The tip is tapered to a fine point, so deadly accurate vibes are there for the taking. Then the shaft flares out a little before tapering back in, then back out into a small bulb. Around that slimmer portion is a barely visible textured pattern. It doesn’t offer anything much during play (if you insert it that deeply) but it does help maintain grip once fingers get wet. And the bulb at the base makes it really comfy in the hand.

The NU-Sensuelle Bobbii is a rechargeable vibe. Round the back of the toy is a small hole for the pin charger. Once that’s connected you can plug it into the wall, or your computer, etc. It needs an initial charge of sixty minutes, two hours giving the maximum charge. You get up to fifty minutes play from a full charge.

At the very base of the toy is a single button. This turns the toy on and off, and lets you work through the functions. And you get an astonishing 69 of them from the Bobbii. To be perfectly honest with you, I think that’s some serious overkill. Patterns don’t do a lot for me, I prefer constant speeds, or I get distracted. But even if you adore patterns, do you really need 69 of them? I mean, what if your fave is number 68? You gotta click that bitch 68 fucking times to get there. And what if you overshoot it? You gotta click another 68 times to get back there again. And what if, just what if, you overshoot again? Ugh, no thanks.

From what I can gather, there are 7 constant speeds and the rest are patterns. It’s kinda hard to tell cos the button can be a little unresponsive. That and the fact that most of the increases in constant speed are so subtle it’s hard to tell the difference between 1 and 2, or 6 and 7. The difference between 1 and 7 is very noticeable, though. And for me, 7 is where it’s at.

I’ll hold my hands up and say that I didn’t expect to find a bedside drawer fave in my Nu-Sensuelle haul, but the Bobbii is a fab little thing!

It packs quite the punch, bringing me clitoral orgasms in just a few minutes. I touch the tip to the hotspot at the right of my clit then rock the side of the vibe over the top of it. Sometimes I rock it beneath it, sometimes above it. This brings me close so fast it still surprises me when I find myself thinking, I’m gonna come. When I’m almost there I’ll press the tip hard against my side spot and that’s that. Job done.

What surprises me most is that it works for me even though it’s pretty buzzy. There’s a load of power behind it and I do detect a bit of depth, so it isn’t all surface level buzzing. But it is a lot sharper than I usually like. Would saying it has a high-quality buzz be a good way of putting it? Cos that’s the only way I can think to describe it.

It isn’t just my clit that likes the NU-Sensuelle Bobbii, either. The entrance to my vagina quivers when I stroke it around there, and my perineum responds well, too. I haven’t had it near my butt, though, cos the bulb on the end doesn’t make it anywhere near anal safe. But it’s all good for my entire vulva, my nipples, the back of my neck, and my thighs.

To keep it at its best I wash my Bobbii in a sink of warm, soapy water. I’ve been asked in the past what soaps I use for this, and it just seems right to me that I use an intimate wash designed for use on the vulva. A little squirt goes a long way and it gets things nice and clean without leaving a residue. NU-Sensuelle provides storage bags with their toys so I keep my Bobbii in there in the little set of drawers on top of my bedside table.

If you like the sound of the Bobbii, click the banner below and head over to Latex, Leather & Lace. While you’re there, why not check out the rest of the NU-Sensuelle rechargeable range? There are loads to choose from and *upcoming reviews spoiler alert* all of the pieces I’ve tried are none too shabby.

The NU-Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible Vibrator was sent to me by Latex, Leather & Lace in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinions, which are now, and will forever be, my own. No affiliate links have been used in this post.
