About a month and a bit before Scandarella became a thing, I got an email from the mighty Cara Sutra. Her Christmas break was upon her and she had a product that needed reviewing. Not wanting to break her own ‘no reviews’ rule, she asked me if I could do it for the Pleasure Panel. Of course I said yes, because it was Cara, and it was an awesome sounding product. And I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it since. Well, not until I got an email from Sex Toys UK asking me if I wanted to review the latest addition to their ace Loving Joy line. Louise (who is my STUK contact and one of the loveliest people ever) was super excited about it, and that in turn got me super excited. So, when the Loving Joy Dua was finally in my hands I couldn’t wait to start getting acquainted.
So, what is the Dua?
Basically, it’s a box full of options. An interchangeable vibrator with two gorgeous attachments. One of them is a midi-wand style attachment and the other is a rabbit. That right there is brilliant, in my opinion. I mean, could two toys be any more different than a wand and a rabbit? Not just in shape, but in size, surface contact, and stimulation type. Even though reviewing sex toys has been a huge part of my life for some time now, I still get shaky with excitement when something new comes my way. Especially if that something new is a new concept, or if it builds on something I already know I love. That’s how it was with the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit.
Many folks are happy with the orgasms their air pulse technology toys alone offer, but I’m always wanting more. One of my favourite ways to use my Satisfyers and Womanizers is to combine them with insertable toys. I’ve long used dildos with them – both vaginally and anally – but have recently changed to using vibrators for maximum stimulation. The orgasms I get from combos can be knock-me-out powerful, but there’s always one thing I dislike about doubling up; the effort. Continue reading “Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit”
Rabbit vibrators. Some people love them, some people hate them. I’m one of those people who loves the idea of them but often finds that they lack…something. It could be the most powerful rabbit on earth, but the external arm is too short. It could fit me like a glove, but the vibes are subpar, or the shaft is too intense for me to feel anything going on around my clit. But I keep trying cos I know that the perfect rabbit is out there just waiting for me to find it. One of the most recent ones to land at Scandarella House for testing is the So Divine Let’s Go Crazy Rabbit Vibrator.
I like So Divine. Their products are so simple, but I’ve not had one that I didn’t really enjoy using. Butt plugs with interchangeable gems, vibes with removeable sleeves, a double-ended wand…they have something to stimulate most areas of the body. Rabbit vibrators. They’re a funny breed of sex toy, aren’t they? They look like they should be the perfect tool to provide their user with glorious, easily won blended orgasms. But many people – myself included – have been let down by their buzzing bunnies because they’re not a one-size-fits-all kinda toy. Finding the perfect fit, size, and power level all in one product is a right royal pain in the arse at best. And, if I’m honest, it’s probably an unreasonable thing to expect from something that isn’t custom made. Whenever I get a chance to road test a body safe rabbit, I jump at it, hoping that I’ll finally find the perfect one for me. Do you reckon the Javida Heating Vibe from the lovely folks at Orion has a chance of being it?
I’ve tried products from a few of Orion’s own brands now and, so far, most of what I’ve seen has impressed me. The build of their vibrators is always to a high standard, and the Javida Heating Vibe is no different. Continue reading “Javida Heating Vibe”
Imagine, if you will, a black and white scene on a small, boxy screen. Two individuals staring each other down, the lust thickened air wrought with tension. They want to touch each other. But they’re afraid that, if they do, they might discover that desire aside, they’re entirely incompatible. That’s basically me and the rabbit vibrator, people. Those providers of dual stimulation and I have had a strained relationship in the past and this, the Blush Novelties Hop Cottontail Rabbit, is the latest in a string of vulva bunnies to try to seduce me. Read on to find out how it did…
This packaging, though. All the candyfloss pink in the land has been concentrated into this paperboard box. And the window in the front of said box is massive, showing pretty much the entire Cottontail in all its candyfloss pink glory. I really wish I could hate it, but even though it’s cheap and natty looking for a product in this price bracket, I actually like it. Continue reading “Hop Cottontail Rabbit Vibrator”
Here’s a thing that didn’t occur to me until very recently: what if I wanted the luxury of a high-end vibrator, but disliked powerful, rumbly vibes? Nearly all fancy pants sex toys come with words like ‘powerful’ and ‘rumbly’ splashed over their product pages and packaging. That’s great for me, cos powerful and rumbly vibes are the best as far as I’m concerned. But what about those folks whose clits and bits recoil at the thought of thunderclaps on their genitals? How do they get their luxury with a side of gentle? Well, they could check out the Sky Alto by AVE.
Nine times out of ten, if I consider a sex toy to be beautiful, it’s a dildo. Vibrators can be fancy, sure, but I most often feel that they’re built for function rather than form. And rightfully so, a pretty vibrator would be pretty pointless if it didn’t deliver. Continue reading “SKY Alto by AVE”
If anyone asked me what my favourite sex toy brand of all time is, I’d throw my arms out and yodel, “Fun Factory!”. I love getting packages delivered, but there’s an extra air of excitement about it when I know there’s something from that brand inside. I’m not ashamed to admit that, when the Fun Factory Amorino Mini Vibrator arrived, I did a little dance. But not for the reason you’d expect. The reason was, it’s the first product of theirs where I’ve looked at it and thought, what the fuck’s this about, then?
Yep, the Amorino isn’t your everyday mini rabbit. It’s got a little something extra, and I knew it had the potential to be either mind-warpingly good or completely and utterly shite. Continue reading “Fun Factory Amorino Mini Vibrator”
Well now! If you’d told me six months ago that I’d get to review a mains powered insertable vibrator, I’d have laughed in your face. I’d never seen one before and, to be perfectly honest with you, the idea that company could be in the middle of making one never even occurred to me. But then three different styles appeared on Lovehoney’s tester list, and I was given the opportunity to review one (then another later on, the review for which you can check out here).

When I first spotted the Jopen Opal on Twitter, my eyes were instantly on stalks. I pretty much rubbed them all over the gorgeous image on my laptop screen and had my first eyegasm. It was just so lovely to look at I wanted it on sight, and when the fabulous Carolyn from Betty’s Toy Box asked me if I was up for reviewing it, I think I whooped so hard she heard me across continents.

The Close2You Flores Piccolo rabbit-style vibrator was an unexpected offering from a lovely lady at Orion, sent along with the Passione Rosa (from the same brand) for me to review. I have a number of rabbit vibes at this point, and I have a terrible time getting them to work for me, so I was eager to see if the Piccolo would end up on the yes or no pile.
